The "Scarlet Foxes", the Red Hat ladies group from Galeton, participated in a Paint and Dine class last night at Kaytee's Restaurant. The class is offered by local artist Linda Mohler Rohrer.
Students arrive early to the art class so they can order dinner off the menu at Kaytee's located on Rt. 6 in Coudersport. Following dinner, each "art student" is given a pre-drawn canvas which Linda Mohler Rohrer uses to guide the budding artists through the painting process. Although the whole class does the same picture, each canvas shows the unique creativity of the individual holding the brush. Lots of fun and laughter accompanies the layers of paint- making the time fly by.
Paint and Dine is the idea of Linda Mohler Rohrer, who also has a private art studio at 206 Cartee Street in Coudersport, but these special gatherings are held at Kaytee' so those who wish to can dine before painting. More Paint and Dine classes are coming up...one on May 9th, the 16th and the 25th. The classes are $15.00 which includes everything you need to complete a small masterpiece. Dinner is separate
Call Linda at 814-274-0465 if you would like to sign up for a class.
